Oral history interviews with Angie Debo, 1981-1985 [sound recording].

Interviews conducted with Angie Debo at her home in Marshall, Oklahoma. Transcripts prepared from the tapes are also available. The interviewers developed questions that covered many aspects of Dr. Debo's life and philosophy. Included in the interviews are discussions of her writing and relationship with publishers, her family and hometown, her employment, her work on establishing Indian land and water rights, and on the history of Oklahoma. These interviews are an important source of information for Angie Debo's philosophies on several topics.
